Our DCalling Conference Tool enables you to confer with customers, friends and family!
You can invite up to 25 participants to your conference and create 10 conferences maximum. Using the DCalling Conference is free of costs!
The dial in number of the conference is: 0049 (0)221177369-02. To use the DCalling Conference Tool there is no need to verify your phone number.
I. WHAT DOES A CONFERENCE OWNER DO?
1. ADD CONFERENCE
Here you can enter the details of the conference to add. You can schedule a certain day and time and let the meeting reoccur. This option is useful if you plan a recurrent meeting, for example a job meeting. You can schedule a “Simple” or “Detailed” conference.

Conference information: „Simple“
Conference name: Please type the name of the conference
Conference number: automatically
Start Time (GMT+1): Please schedule date and time
Duration (HH:MM): Please state the maximum duration of the conference

Start Time (GMT+1): Please schedule date and time
Duration (HH:MM): Please state the maximum duration of the conference
Conference Owner: filled in automatically
Moderator PIN: You can define a Moderator PIN that you have to state before entering the conference. The Moderator PIN is an optional specification. If you like to setup a Moderator Option the Moderator PIN is mandatory.
Moderator Options: You can select “Announce” and/or “Record”. The option “Announce” causes that the Moderator Name is announced if the Moderator joins the conference. In this case the Moderator will be asked to record his name. The option “Record” causes that the whole conference will be recorded.
User PIN: You can choose a User PIN that the participants have to state before joining the conference. The User PIN is an optional specification (even if you have chosen a Moderator PIN before). If you like to setup a User Option the User PIN is mandatory.
User Options: You can select “Announce”, “Listen Only” or “Wait for leader”. If you select “Announce” the User Name will be announced when he attends a conference. In this case the User will be asked to record his name. The option “Listen Only” causes that User just can listen, while the Moderator is speaking. The option “Wait for leader” puts participants on hold until the Moderator joins the conference.
Recurs: Here you can set that the conference is repeated daily, weekly or twice a week. The setting is valid up to 14 days.
Max Participants: Here you can state the number of participants (maximum 25).
After you set the conference options you click on “Add Conference” and invite participants by stating their name, mail-ID, telephone number and clicking on “Add Contact” to add another participant an “Delete” to delete a participant. Finally you can select “Invite” and choose between “SMS participants” or “E-Mail participants”. Either or the participants will get the conference information via Mail or SMS (9,9Cent (EUR)/SMS). You can invite the participant without our web interface, too. Please make sure that you inform the participants about the Conference Number, the PIN if required and the dial in number: 0049 (0)221-177296-02.
2. PAST CONFERENCES

Here you can access a conference or delete it. You can search certain conferences by typing in the Conference Number or Conference Name into the search form. By clicking “Conference Number” you can see the Conference Details.
3. CURRENT CONFERENCES

Here you can choose a Conference Number and extend the duration of the conference, finish a conference or invite further participants. If you invite further participants you have to pay the regular DCalling rate for phoning them. You can see our rates at http://www.dcalling.com/pricelist.html.
4.FUTURE CONFERENCES

Here you can look up future conferences and change the settings as well as date and time.
II. WHAT DOES A CONFERENCE PARTICIPANT DO?
The Conference Owner informs you about the conference data via mail, SMS or telephone. The mail contains the telephone number, date and time of the conference and a PIN if required. If you would like to join a conference you have to dial the dial in number of the conference: 0049 (0)221-177396-02, state the User PIN if required and confirm by pressing #.
If the Conference Owner has set the option “Announce” you have to record your name before entering the conference. Say our name and confirm by pressing #. The System will repeat the recording. To accept the recording, please press 1, to record it again press 2. If you confirm your name you can enter the Conference. If the Conference Owner has set the option ‘Wait for leader’ you will be put on hold as long as a moderator enters the conference. You can access the conference menu by pressing *. There you can choose different options by choosing the following numbers:
1 Mute/Unmute
4 increase conference volume
6 decrease conference volume
7 increase own volume
9 decrease own volume
8 finish conference
WHAT DOES A CONFERENCE MODERATOR DO?
The Conference Owner has to inform you about the conference data via mail, SMS or telephone. The mail contains the telephone number, date and time of the conference and a PIN if required (please note that this is the User PIN). If you would like to join a conference you have to dial the dial in number of the conference: 0049 (0)221-177396-02, state the Moderator PIN if required and confirm by pressing #.
If you would like to change your entry hang up the phone and try it again. How to record your name is introduced at II. A Moderator can access the menu by pressing * and choose the following options:
1 Mute/Unmute,
2 Lock/unlock conference
3 add a participant to the conference
4 increase conference volume
6 decrease conference volume
7 increase own volume
8 decrease own volume
9 finish conference
If you lock a conference no further participant can join the conference.
