Installation of an X-Lite Softphone
Softphone X Lite
By using X-Lite or any other softphone you can make phone calls even if you do not have a landline or mobile phone available. You can use your computer instead.
Just download the software of X-Lite and make calls with your headset.
1. Download Softphone X-lite from CounterPath for free and install this software on you computer.
2. Start X-Lite.
3. Click with the RIGHT mouse button on X-Lite and choose "Sip Account Settings". (Apple: please use "ctrl" + click)
4. Click "Add..." on the right hand side.
5. Insert data in the fields. You can find the data in your login area when you click "Access by SIP" on the menu bar.
- Display Name: Your Name (e.g. "John Doe")
- User name: Your DCalling SIP-Username
- Password: Your DCalling SIP-Password
- Authorization user name: Your DCalling SIP-Username
- Domain: "sip.dcalling.de"
Click on "OK" afterwards, at the bottom, right hand side.
Note:
After your registration at DCalling it may take up to 24 hours until you can use DCalling with your FritzBox.
