Make Cheap International Phone Calls with Your Computer

DCalling offers different options to use your computer as a phone.

1. Cheap International Phone Calls with the DCalling Webphone

In case you do not have access to a phone, you can use the DCalling webphone for making cheap international phone calls. Just open your browser, log in on DCalling and go to Online > Web-Phone. An installation is not necessary. To make a call with your computer you need to have either a headset or speakers and a microphone.

Please note: after signing up for DCalling, it might take up to 24 hours until you can start using the webphone since the user data has to be updated in the DCalling system first.

2. DCalling and Other Virtual Telephones

There is no need to be logged in when you plan to use your computer for making a cheap phone call with DCalling. Just set up a virtual telephone/softphone on your computer and start talking.

Cheap Calls with X-Lite Softphone

1. Download the virtual phone
   Download X-Lite for free and follow the setup instructions.
2. Go to your X-Lite settings
   Click on X-Lite with your right mouse button and go to “SIP Account Settings”. Then click on “Add” on the right side of the menu.
3. Set up DCalling as your provider for calls via Internet
   - Display Name: Your Name (e.g. "John Doe")
   - User name: Your DCalling SIP user name*
   - Password: Your DCalling SIP password*
   - Authorization user name: Your DCalling SIP user name
   - Domain: "sip.dcalling.de"
   - Confirm your settings with the OK button on the right side.

Cheap Phone Calls with the Zoiper Phone

1. Download the Zoiper Phone
2. Start the Zoiper Phone. Click on Options > Add New IAX Account.
3. Enter the following data:
   - Server Hostname/IP: "iax.dcalling.de"
   - User name: Your DCalling SIP user name*
   - Password: Your DCalling SIP password*
   - Caller ID Name: Your name (might be shown to the recipient of your call)
   - Caller ID Number: Your number (might be shown to the recipient of your call)

Please choose SIP when opening the Zoiper softphone.

* You can find this data after logging in on DCalling at Online > VoIP Accounts SIP/IAX.
Telephone App for Mac and computer with OS X operation system

1. Download the App at the Mac Appstore for free.
2. Install the App and open the setting menue.
3. Please fill in this data::
   - Domain: "sip.dcalling.de"
   - Username: "SIP/IAX USERNAME"
   - Password: "SIP/IAX PASSWORD"
   You can find this data after logging in on DCalling at Online > VoIP Accounts SIP/IAX
   Now you can call very cheap international numbers and start talking.
