Use your computer to make cheap phone calls worldwide with DCalling. All you need is your computer and a headset (or speakers and a microphone). There are no dial-in numbers or roaming charges.

You can either log in on DCalling and use the DCalling web phone with your browser (no installation necessary) or use a virtual telephone so you do not need to log in.

Use the DCalling Webphone - No Installation Necessary

Go to Online > Webphone and enter your destination number.

Use DCalling with a Virtual Telephone (Softphone)

You can use DCalling with a virtual telephone (softphone) or other SIP software to make cheap international phone calls. There is no need even to start your browser.

You can download a virtual phone for free on the Internet. We recommend the following two options:

The X-Lite Softphone

1. Download the virtual X-Lite softphone here:

2. Start the phone after successfully installing it. Open the menu by clicking on X-Lite with the right mouse button. Go to “SIP Account Settings” and click “Add”:

- Display Name: Your name (e.g. "John Doe")

- User name/Password: Your user name and password for the SIP account can be found in your login area (Online > VoIP Accounts SIP/IAX)

- Authorization user name: Your DCalling SIP user name

- Domain: sip.dcalling.de

- Confirm your settings by clicking on “OK”

Now your virtual softphone is ready for making cheap phone calls with DCalling.

The Zoiper Softphone

1. Download the virtual softphone from www.zoiper.com

2. Go to Options > Add New IAX Account and enter the following data:

- Server Hostname/IP: "iax.dcalling.de"

- User name/password: You can find this information in your login area (Online > VoIP Accounts SIP/IAX)

- Caller ID Name: Your name

- Caller ID Number: Your phone number

- Confirm your settings by clicking on "OK"
